Caring for Wild Birds

The RSPB recommend year round feeding for wild birds, as food shortages can occur at any time. By feeding birds in summer, as well as winter, we are giving them, and their chicks, a much higher chance of survival.

Here at Copnor Tropicals we stock a large range of wild bird seed and accessories. We stock general bird seed, such as peanuts, seed mixes, thistle seed and sunflower seed, as well as more species specific seeds, such as those designed to appeal to hedgerow species, like greenfinches and robins, or meadow birds, like chaffinches.

A favourite of all wild birds, we also stock a selection of fat balls and suet treats, and also dried mealworms.
